The journey begins
Born and raised in Germany, I graduated from the University of Applied Sciences Cologne. I studied economics, finance, and business with a focus on marketing in omnichannel environments. During those years, I adopted German values like exactness and the strict adherence to truth. My experiences taught me that respect is earned through hard work and outstanding performance. Little did I know that my career path would lead me to work in Asia or in the healthcare industry.
An unexpected turn: China chapter
Leading in the Land of Smiles
Innovation and Patient Empowerment
I work with a variety of patients. But spinal cord injury (SCI) patients have a special place in my heart. A close friend has spent most of their life in a wheelchair so it felt like destiny when my team released a neuromodulation device that helped SCI patients regain some bodily functions. Within five years, 100+ of our patients achieved unprecedented recoveries. It was inspiring and rewarding to lead a team responsible for so much innovation. I was there from “bench to bed,” to proof of concept, to a viable treatment.
Continued success as a healthcare guide
Building a network was critical to raising awareness about innovative SCI treatments. Between ‘16 and ‘20 traveled the globe meeting like-minded people, potential business partners, and healthcare innovators. These trips took me to China, India, Brazil, Spain, and Mexico. Activities ranged from medical tourism conferences to neurology forums. I even had the privilege of witnessing a formerly paralyzed SCI patient stand up on his wedding day.
Harvard Medical School: Healthcare Leadership
One of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions granted me the opportunity to level up my industry expertise with high-level courses on leadership, finance, human resources management and others. Beyond the benefits of returning to an educational environment, this time also offered me the chance to expand my network of senior-level healthcare executives. It was an invaluable experience that prepared me for the unimaginable havoc caused by an impending global pandemic.
Moving Up Amidst the New Normal
In a crisis, true healthcare guides rise to the top. As COVID-19 forced most of the world into lockdown, I faced a plethora of new challenges. I was appointed Deputy CEO of an international healthcare company and knew that tough times and circumstances called for profound and unique leadership. I applied what I learned from my role models and past experiences to build up a culture of empowerment, ambition, and innovation. This period was when my accumulated knowledge and experience produced the highest level of contribution.
Onto the NEXT Chapter
After some serious soul searching, I have decided to begin a new chapter in my professional life. Throughout my career, I have had the honor of working on several unique and life-changing projects aimed at improving patients’ lives. I have truly enjoyed those opportunities and I am beyond proud of what my peers and I have accomplished. There were so many transformational healthcare “firsts” during this chapter of my professional life. Milestones that gave patients new hopes, treatment opportunities, and quality of life improvements. I realize now more than ever that there are opportunities to do things differently — more cost-effectively, efficiently, and empathetically. Opportunities don’t “happen,” we create them. Let’s work together.
Imagine The Possibilities
I am embarking on my journey as an entrepreneur and business owner. I am happy to introduce you to ImagineHealth – a project which I see as the culmination of my professional career.

ImagineHealth is Thailand medical travel done right.
Core Leadership Values and Skills
My entire career has been focused on leading multicultural teams. From international hospitals and clinics to medical tourism experts and patients ,as a healthcare leader I cultivate meaningful relationships based on empathy, understanding, and optimism.
People with differing viewpoints at every level must be encouraged to collaborate and hold each other accountable. This global mindset has been the foundation of my wildly successful international sales and marketing strategies.
I’ve seen firsthand that the most innovative healthcare companies are the ones that encourage employees at every level to contribute. On my teams, anyone can suggest a new idea or point out a better way to do things.
This approach ensures that everyone is constantly learning, improving, and collaborating. Disrupting an industry is rarely the work of a single person. It takes a dynamic, well rounded team.
During my time at Harvard Medical School’s Healthcare Leadership Program, I learned that the key to simultaneously achieving positive clinical and financial outcomes is putting patients first.
Healthcare is so complex and ripe for disruption that leaders must totally reframe their strategies. For me, that means every single member of an organisation must treat patients as contributors and equals.
I studied marketing in university and went on to hone those strategies in the healthcare industry for over a decade. The key to my success in this area has been understanding a target audience’s physical, emotional, relational, and existential needs.
By understanding better than anyone else what’s driving a patient’s search for care, I not only build more effective teams and services — I challenge the entire industry to improve. That’s the kind of marketing I specialise in.
Join my journey to disrupt healthcare
There’s so much more I plan to do.
But I need people like you to turn my vision into reality.
